Elisabete Cargnello said LISA.C was born on February 14th, 1973. It is in the adolescence that she confides a passion for the drawing and more particularly for the portraits.
Self-taught, her explores various techniques, of the charcoal in the ink to finish in the oil paint associated with collages of old newspapers, so creating small commented directions which will be sometimes soft, sometimes funny.
Very influenced by the advertisements of the 1950s, she tries to recreate within her paintings this atmosphere of former days, light and fanciful. Her painting is at the middle way between realism and comic strip.
